Currently serving the counties of Christian, Clay, Effingham, Fayette, Montgomery, Moultrie, and Shelby

Riders are encouraged to schedule at least one working day in advance - same day service available if space permits

Riders need to be ready for pick-up fifteen minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time

Cancellations must be made two hours prior to pick-up time

All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant

No service on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving and day after, and Christmas Day

Support for the Central Illinois Public Transit Program comes from the IL Department of Transportation, Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland, Midland Area Agency on Aging, and the IL Department of Human Services, Bureau of Title XX.

Alternative formats of material are available upon request.

Cash Fare Structure

In County

  • $3 per one-way trip, $6 per round trip
  • Children 0-5 ride free with paying adult
  • Children 6-12 are $2 per one-way trip, $4 per round trip
  • Seniors ride for a suggested donation

Monthly Pass

  • Monthly Pass is $35
  • Monthly Pass for person with a disability is $15

Discount Tickets

  • Book of 10 tickets is $20 (no expiration date)


  • Senior ID cards are available


Out of County/Out of Service Area/Non-Existing Routes

  • When available - $1 per mile


Agency Contracts

Agencies are not eligible for discounted fares and passes
