C.E.F.S. is named 2003 Agency of the Year

The Central Illinois Foodbank recognized C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation as the 2003 Agency of the Year at their 21st Annual Recognition Dinner and Awards Banquet in Springfield.

C.E.F.S. was recognized for out-standing leadership on behalf of those in need. C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation shared information among local food assistance programs, increased access to local, state, and federal food programs, actively participated in the Central Illinois Foodbank, provided local educational opportunities related to nutrition programs and encouraged community involvement and collaboration in local nutrition programs such as local food pantries and food distribution programs.
