REHABILITATION MEASURES

Rehabilitation Measures are those tasks required to produce a structure that meets the codes and standards when the work is completed.  These tasks are identified during the initial inspection with a bid document written detailing the work required.  Deficiencies must meet codes and standards when the work is completed.  If the measures to correct the deficiencies can not be performed the structure is determined ineligible for the Rehabilitation Program and the project denied.  The areas frequently deficient on a residential structure are wiring, plumbing, roofing, exterior wall coverings, floor coverings in certain areas, and minor structural problems.
