Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program (WIOA) is hiring for the following position:

Full-time Career Planner - Full-time Career Planner in the Olney office. Potential candidates must have good communication skills, experience working with computers, and the ability to relate to and motivate others. Job duties include eligibility determination, assessment, career counseling, and caseload management for the Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth, and TAA programs. Associates Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Business, Social Work, or related field is preferred although experience which has led to the requisite skills and knowledge needed to perform job duties may be considered in place of a degree. High School diploma required.

C.E.F.S. Head Start Program is hiring for the following positions: 

Head Start Teacher Assistant – Altamont and Vandalia centers. School year position, 40-hrs./wk. M-F. Associates degree in early childhood education or related coursework equivalent to a major in early childhood education and one year experience teaching preschool age children preferred; must possess or willing to obtain a preschool (3-5) CDA credential with high school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 19.

Head Start Classroom Aide - Taylorville and Vandalia centers. School year positions, 40-hrs./wk. M-F. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18. Experience working with preschool age children preferred.

Parent Educator - Clay County area. Full-time, full year positions, 40-hrs./wk. M-F. Associates degree in early childhood education or an associates degree in a related field with 120 clock hours of early childhood education and principles of adult learning covering the growth and development of children birth to age five required.

Bus Drivers - Pana center. School year positions, 40-hrs./wk. M–F. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a CDL school bus license or able to obtain a school bus eligibility receipt from the Secretary of State driver license facility by which to obtain a CDL school bus license. Must be at least 21.

Substitute Bus Monitor - School year positions. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18.

C.E.F.S. Outreach is hiring for the following positions: 

Intensive Case Manager (Moultrie County) - C.E.F.S. Outreach Department has an opening for an Intensive Case Manager. This position will serve a key role in the success of our HUD Rapid Re-Housing Program, a program designed to assist individuals and families in housing related matters.  Job duties will include intensive case management including budgeting, goal setting, life skills, and developing program exit plans; home visits; home inspections; and interactions with Landlords. This person will also be required to document all interaction with program participants and case management activities into a specified software program in a timely manner. Location of home office will be based in Moultrie County Outreach Office. This position will travel to Shelby and Moultrie counties to provide services to all HUD Rapid Re-Housing participants. An agency vehicle will be provided for this travel. Bachelor’s in Social Work, Sociology, or related field is preferred. Associate degree in a Human Services related field is required. This position will require HUD Certification within 18 months of hire.

Outreach Resource Specialist (Clay County) - As part of the Outreach team, the Resource Specialist will assist with waiting room activities, including answering phones and greeting customers, scheduling, and office maintenance. Resource Specialist may work directly with customers, under the guidance of other Outreach Staff in defined areas including information and referrals, benefit enrollment and assistance with the tax program. Associate degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. Must meet pre-employment requirements.

Central Illinois Public Transit (CIPT) is hiring for the following position: 

Operations Manager - Central Illinois Public Transit of C.E.F.S. is looking for a detail-oriented candidate with supervisory experience to serve as Operations Manager. This position will be accountable for ensuring that the daily operations of CIPT are run efficiently, improving organizational processes and workflow, and ensuring quality of transportation data. Responsibilities will include record keeping, quality review, staff supervision and development, monitoring route scheduling and development to optimize efficiency. The position will operate under the direction of the Program Director but must have the ability to work without direct supervision and promote a culture that encourages top performance and high morale. Position is full time, Monday through Friday and includes an on-call rotation. Preferred candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in operations management, logistics, business, or related field although experience which has led to the requisite skills and knowledge to perform job duties may be considered in place of a degree.
