Meals on Wheels of C.E.F.S. is hiring for the following positions: 

    Site Supervisor - The Meals on Wheels of C.E.F.S. is currently hiring a Site Supervisor in Hillsboro. Position is 20 hours week Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Responsibilities include packing up meals for home-delivering and serving seniors in a congregate setting. Position comes with paid vacation, holiday, and sick time. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must meet pre-employment requirements.

C.E.F.S. Outreach is hiring for the following positions: 

    Housing Counselor - C.E.F.S. Moultrie County Housing Counselor position available. Duties may include recruitment, intake, eligibility determination, assessment, counseling, casework, and the development of individual’s goals and perspectives in becoming self-sufficient. The Counselor also assists in liaison work for the program with all persons, parties and entities, both public and private as assigned. Duties will require travel, training in homeownership services and require home visits/inspections. Must meet pre-employment requirements. Associate’s required, Bachelor’s preferred.

Head Start Program - Head Start is hiring for the following positions:     

    Substitute Bus Driver/Monitor - position available. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have valid driver's license, a CDL bus license, and/or able to obtain a school bus eligibility receipt from the Secretary of State driver license facility, and be at least age 21. Must meet pre-employment requirements.

    ERSEA Clerk - This position works out of the Central Office in Effingham. Maintain an efficient and effective record-keeping system to provide accurate and timely information regarding enrollment, attendance, recruitment, and non-federal share. Computer data entry and filing skills required. Full time/full year position. Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.

    Bus Driver/Bus Monitor - This position is open for the C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program center in Shelbyville, IL. 40-hrs./wk. M–F. HS diploma or equivalent required. Must be age 18 for monitor position. Must have a valid driver’s license and a CDL Bus License and/or able to obtain a School Bus Eligibility Receipt from the Secretary of State Driver License Facility and be at least age 21 for driver position.

    Bus Driver/Bus Monitor - This position is open for the C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program center in Pana, IL. 40-hrs./wk. M–F. HS diploma or equivalent required. Must be age 18 for monitor position. Must have a valid driver’s license and a CDL Bus License and/or able to obtain a School Bus Eligibility Receipt from the Secretary of State Driver License Facility and be at least age 21 for driver position.

    Teacher Assistants - Shelbyville and Vandalia centers. School year positions, 40-hrs./wk. M-F. Associates degree in Early Childhood Development preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required and must be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential upon hire. Must be at least age 21.

    Classroom Aide - Taylorville Center. School year position, 40-hrs./wk. M-F. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least age 18.
