C.E.F.S. Outreach Program is hiring for the following positions:
​Outreach Housing Counselor​
Location/s: Taylor Springs, IL
Description: C.E.F.S. is seeking an Outreach Housing Counselor in Montgomery County. Duties include recruitment, intake, eligibility determination, assessment, counseling, casework, and the development of goals and perspectives to create stability and/or self-sufficiency for families and individuals served through the Outreach Housing Programs. This position assists in liaison work with all persons, parties, and entities, both public and private, as assigned. Duties will require local travel, training in rental and homeownership services, and home visits/inspections. The Housing Counselor also assists with food pantry duties located on site. This position will require HUD Certification within 6 months of hire. Associate degree and/or experience in social services preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required. The base of operations is at the Montgomery County Outreach office in Taylor Springs, IL. Hourly wage: $17.53.

Outreach Homeless Intensive Case Manager​
Location/s: (Office location determined by residence)
Description: C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation is hiring a full-time Homeless Intensive Case Manager. This position will serve a key role in the success of the HUD Rapid Re-Housing Program, a program designed to assist homeless individuals and families. Job duties will include intensive case management including budgeting, goal setting, life skills, and developing program exit plans; home visits; home inspections; and interactions with landlords. This person will also be required to document all interaction with program participants and case management activities into a specified software program in a timely manner. This position will travel throughout Clay, Effingham, Fayette and Montgomery counties to provide services to all HUD Rapid Re-Housing participants. An agency vehicle will be provided for this travel. Location of home office will be determined by residence of person hired. Associate degree in social services related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. This position will require HUD Certification within 6 months of hire. Hourly wage: $17.53/hr

C.E.F.S. Senior Services is hiring for the following positions:
​Senior Services Program Specialist​
Location/s: Effingham, IL
Description: C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation is hiring a full-time Senior Services Program Specialist for the Effingham central office location. Responsibilities include preparing payment vouchers, reviewing supply requests and placing supply and material orders, maintaining inventory of supplies, entering program data, and maintaining spreadsheets/databases while providing assistance through a variety of clerical and substitute duties to support the Senior Services Program. Associate degree in administrative, secretarial systems, or information technology preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with relevant office work experience required. Good customer service skills are necessary. Hourly wage: $16.51.

Meals on Wheels Site Supervisor (Part-Time)​

Description: The CEFS Meals on Wheels Program is currently seeking a part-time site supervisor in Effingham. This position is responsible for operating the Meals on Wheels congregate site and packaging meals for the home-delivered meals program. Education Specialists
Location/s: Effingham and Vandalia
Description: Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, developing, and implementing operational procedures for child development and family support; conducting ongoing assessments of service quality and providing feedback for improvement; providing training and supervision to staff and parents on age-appropriate education, behavior guidance, and Conscious Discipline; monitoring education, curriculum, and mental health services; coordinate mental health services with consultant; ensuring safe, healthy learning environments; providing classroom coverage when necessary; team leadership and intensive onsite support. Non-exempt full-time position with consideration for full-year or school-year. An associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field with equivalent credit hours to a major in early childhood education is required. Must possess the required hours of credit from an accredited college or university and/or completion of Gateway credential program to be site director qualified according to DCFS Licensing Standards for Day Care Centers. Experience teaching preschool children required. Hourly wage: $23.61-$28.37

C.E.F.S. Central Illinois Public Transit (CIPT) is hiring for the following positions:

Description: No experience needed, will train. Benefits for full-time drivers include health, dental, vision, vacation, flex, and sick time, life insurance, paid holidays, 403(b) tax-deferred annuity plan, and a new hire incentive up to $1,000. (Not interested in being a full-time driver, substitute drivers will be considered. Choose the assignments you wish to accept; all we ask is that you are willing to work a minimum of 3 days per month.)
