Parent Handbook
Welcome to the CEFS Head Start 0-5 Program! We are excited to welcome your family.
We believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed. We provide high-quality early learning expereinces that help children build the skills they need for school and for life. Whether your family particpates in our center-based or home-based program, we are here to support your child's learning, development, and well-being.
In-Kind
What is in-kind? The C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program receives 80% of its funding from a federal grant. Head Start is required to have an in-kind match (non-federal share match) of 20% to maintain the received federal funding. This in-kind match comes from completed homework activities, donated items, and monetary donations. Individuals, groups, and organizations wanting to support the C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program through in-kind donations can find monthly flyers below and posted on our Facebook page.

County Resource Directory
The C.E.F.S. Head Start 0-5 Program County Resource Directory provides a listing of available dental, health, education, and social service agencies within the seven-county service area that the program services.
If you cannot locate a particular resource or service you need, or if you need additional health, contact your child's Head Start teacher, parent educator, or family advocate for assistance.
